Course Description:

Origami is the art of paper-folding. Its name was derived from Japanese words or (“folding”) and kami (“paper”). Paper folding, art of folding objects out of paper to create both two-dimensional and three-dimensional subjects. Traditional origami consists of folding a single sheet of square paper into a sculpture without cutting, gluing, taping, or even marking it. In recent times, origami models have been evolved to an extent where even rectangular sheets are also used. The use of tools such as scissors, glue, colors, etc are common for making it more attractive and to display the origamist’s creative skills.
