Course Description:

Last several years, there is a trend in artists returning to the craft which has roots that are centuries old. Intricate paper rolling work traces its origin back in the 15th Century (may be earlier). It was created by French and Italian nuns to decorate religious objects with the objective of saving money.

We are here with the course on paper quilling with a little modern twist to it. This is curated specially to help young students learn the art of rolled paper by investigating patterns and forms found in nature. This course is all about rolling, looping, twisting, curling, shaping, and gluing paper strips together to create amazing pieces. In this course, one can learn the art of quilling right from the basics. Students will learn to make fascinating crafts like decorative envelopes, photo frames, book marks, mandala 3D models, jewelry, and much more . All the techniques used in this course are easy to master with practice. It will be amazing to see children creating beautiful pieces of quilled art in a few weeks’ time.
